I have never played Ultimate before, does that matter?
Not at all. Every year about 1/3 of the players are brand new to the sport.
Who is the coach?
Jim Pistrang has been coaching ARMS Ultimate since 1994. See the end of this page for contact information. Other coaches are:

Can 5th and 6th Graders Play?
Yes! The program is open to players in 5th through 8th grade.
How do I sign up??
7th & 8th Grade: How do I register? Spring Registration for 7th and 8th graders is through the ARHS Athletic Department, registration is open now. Click here to register. All students should register for ‘Ultimate Frisbee (Intramural)’ If you try out and are selected for the Travel Team you will need to pay an additional fee.
5th & 6th Grade: How do I register? Fifth and Sixth Graders are elegible to participate in the Intramural program. Registration is through Amherst Recreation (formerly LSSE), not through the school. Click here to register.
What is the deadline for registration??
We will accept registrations until the third week of March. But please remember, an early registration is still the best approach!
Where are practices and games?
Practices and games are at ARMS on the field behind the tennis courts.
When are practices and games?
Practices and games are on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00.
How do I get to the fields?
ARMS Students: The fields are at ARMS, no need to take a bus.
All others: Parents must provide transportation to ARMS. Wildwood students can just walk down the hill behind the school.
When does the season start?
The first practice is on Monday, March 18, 2024.
What do I need to bring to practices and games?
Always bring a water bottle. Cleats are highly recommended. Dress in layers in the cooler weather.
Do I need to bring a frisbee?
You do not need to bering your own frisbee, we have plenty of practice discs. We WILL have new 2024 ARMS discs for sale at a discount price of $8.
